THE OPPORTUNITY:

This program supports our federal customer who plays a key role in providing direct cybersecurity engineering support. This program provides systems and security engineering and integration support to specific Government-sponsored projects, pilots, and prototypes. This includes solution planning and engineering, defining security requirements, target architecture, interoperability and integration, system testing, Verification and Validation, Modeling and Simulation, studies and analysis, post-deployment security validation (PDSV), and project risk management. As part of this team, you will contribute to the engineering of current and emerging cybersecurity systems, policies, and processes to enforce standards and identify vulnerabilities, and capability gaps and reduce cybersecurity risk of our customer networks.RESPONSIBILITIES/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Incumbent will apply broad systems engineering experience to activities supporting government IT security (80% software, 20% hardware) full lifecycle, from initial request through decommissioning
• Translates wants and needs to requirements, prepare epics, and consults on user stories
• Reviews requested changes for their place in the overall system architecture and design
• Develops cost/benefit analysis
• Recommends process improvements and best practices

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 6 years (with bachelors’ degree) work experience across multiple systems engineering domains. Bachelors’ degree requirement may be substituted with an additional 2 years of related experience
• Active TS clearance is required
• Experienced in Requirements Traceability
• Agile program experience or formal training
• MBSE/ Digital Engineering familiarity
• Knowledge of Government system security
• Familiarity with cloud concepts including within the government environment

PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

• Master's Degree in Systems Engineering
• INCOSE CSEP certification
• MBSE/ Digital Engineering experience
• Government system security experience
• Cloud for government experience
• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience
• Cloud architecture transformation experience
